RE: What's A Salad? A Complete Meal Or A Part Of It???

in #food7 years ago

Well, no. But I didn't go to the dietician for taking 4 meals a day too. In fact, there are several people in my community who take only one meal a day for decades without facing any health issues.
It all started some years back when I stopped eating anything after Sun down. So it was a challenge to be at home before Sunset for my dinner. It was then I decided to follow one meal routine for my convenience and my body has adapted well to it by now.

Great if its working for you without any health threat. Do you go for any exercise too? I mean hows your stamina considering your one meal.

To give you a perspective, I made a 1500 km journey on foot (with about 15 kg rucksack always on my back) all alone in 2016. Few months later, I'm planning to cycle some states to give a company to my friend who is cycling across the country this year.

I don't know your benchmarks for measuring stamina but I hope these information may be helpful.

O wow, thats amazing. You are true inspiration. You made me rethink my dietary choices. I am vegetarian but sometimes I feel I am not all the nutrition required for the body. I will make better choices now on.

All the nutrition a human body requires is available in plenty in plants. I'm vegan but I have better health parameters than many non-vegans.

My friend Kuntal Joisher conquered the Mt. Everest - the highest peak in the world, and he is vegan. Don't get misled about the nutrition by carnist propaganda. All the best to you!

Thanks for the insights. I will do a wise grocery shopping tomorrow.
