Bangkok Street Food Extravaganza. Inside Look at What's Good! (24 food photos and descriptions)

Part of the fun of visiting Bangkok Thailand is experiencing the street food. It's seemingly everywhere. Here in a city of about 10 million there are many mouths to feed. Eating street food in Thailand is fun, affordable, mostly healthy, and convenient. That goes for Thais and tourist, so everyone is eating out all the time! With so much to choose from we need to have a closer look.

This is wonton egg noodle soup with slow cooked ham hock, fried pork belly, spring onions, and fresh bean sprouts. It's one my favorites. They make the same dish with a selection of noodles and meats you can choose from. It's flavorful as is, but being somewhat of a chili head I don't hesitate with the Thai condiments. A famous street food you can find not only in Bangkok but all over South East Asia. I just spotted the same cart yesterday in Laos. Price $1.50

This vendor is selling all sorts of cheap grilled processed sausages, even imitation grilled shrimp. Not popular with westerners but as you can see tourist from other Asian countries have no problem with it. Price $.60

Here inside of MBK mall we see traditional Thai pastries. It's like a toasted waffle filled with flavored marshmallow fluff. Price $.60

Here we have a favorite of mine. Homemade grilled fermented pork sausage, always served with fresh cabbage and thin slices of ginger. Price $1.00

You can find these type of stands all over the country. The woman here is making a roti, a fried thin pancake filled with different stuff you request. Often a fruit and a topping like Nutella, chocolate syrup, or sweet condensed milk. I like bananas and chocolate. price $1.25

These are steamed fish Chinese style dumplings. I don't really like them. They have a real fishy taste. Price $1-2 dollars for a bunch of them.

This guy is grilling up squid and some other seafood stuff I'm not sure what it is. Price $1.50

Chicken sticks. All different parts of the chicken grilled to perfection. They split a wooden stick like they are going to make kindling for a camp fire then pinch the chicken in-between and throw it on the grill, they slather it with some tasty sauce that turns it red. price $1-2

Grilled pork and sausage with a little baggy of chopped chilies and garlic in vinegar, Yum. Priced by the kilo, and it's a good deal like everything else.

Here they sell fresh steamed sweet corn and pumpkin. Price $.60

More grilled pork, this is more of a tender fatty cut, which I prefer! Price $.30 per stick

Sushi! We all know what that is. Thank you Japan! It's real good and they give you soy sauce and a dab of wasabi. When they start to close down shop, they give it away at half price. Only about $.25 a piece.

This is Jack Fruit one of my favorite fruits. Juicy fruit gum was actually made to taste like this. Priced by the Kilo.

Here we have a man making Pad-Thai at 2am on the famous back packer area of Koh San Road. Price $1.20

You can't eat what this kid is selling late at night on Koh San Road, he's selling laughing gas. Looks like he's been using his own product!

This guy is frying up quail eggs. Six for $1.20

Peanuts anyone? Price $0.30-1.00

She's selling the famous Thai Young Coconut for $1.60 and she's got homemade coconut ice-cream. Yum!

There's nothing healthier than fresh squeezed pomegranate juice for $1.60 he also has fresh squeezed orange juice too!

Would you like some fresh fruit cut up and eaten out of plastic bag with a giant tooth-pic for a dollar?

Don't think I'll be trying that anytime soon.

We can't leave out the famous Thai fried chicken often served with sticky rice. It's real good when fresh out of the fryer. Price $.60 -$1.20
