Whole Mind Cooking: How to Make Cauliflower as Satisfying as Steak!
Looking for a meat free meal that is as filling and satisfying as meat? Think cauliflower! These "steaks" are packed with umami flavor and nutrients, and will keep your tummy happy for hours afterwards.
Cook time: 1 hour
Servings: 6
Cost: $4.50
Ingredients:
1 large head of cauliflower
1 tablespoon Tessamae’s green goddess dressing
1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
salt
pepper
Steps:
Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C)
Slice cauliflower lengthwise into slices (we used 1/2 Roman Cauliflower and 1/2 regular white cauliflower)
Drizzle Tessamae’s green goddess dressing, salt and pepper to taste nutritional yeast over cauliflower, making sure each piece has seasoning
Bake for 50 minutes or until crispy
Recommended: serve with avocado, arugula (Rocket) lettuce and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
If you can't find Tessamae's Green Goddess dressing, make your own! There are so many great recipes online and in cookbooks.

I have tried many recipes with cauliflower substituted for chicken, rice, even flour, and none were very good, but this one actually sounds tempting. I will give it a try.
