Hey hey hello! So today am gonna be talking about something different i haven't blogged about before. Today am gonna be talking about...foods! Yes food and not just any kind of food, Nigerian delicacies!
Nigerian foods are always tasty and nutritious. This is because love to cook with fresh ingredients which helps in boosting our health. Today i am going to introduce you guys to some of our finger-licking dishes and their importance to your health. Am going to start with the soups. First is the pepper soup

It is so healthy and is the best way to get back on your feet after any illness. Its is spicy and easy to make. This dish can be made with any kind of assortment. Could be beef,chicken,mutton you name it and it will always come out with an outstanding taste. It gives strength and because it must be prepared with a good amount of pepper, it helps in blood clotting and boosting of the immune system.

Egusi soup is so popular in Nigeria that you can't come to Nigeria and not eat it. It is so rich because it is made various healthy ingredients like pumpkin leaves,our own palm oil,beef or chicken and of course egusi(melon seeds). This dish can be taken with local swallow like eba or fufu. The vegetable gives vitamins,the melon seed and palm oil provides the body with fat and oil and water which is used to prepare it. This soup is so popular that it is prepared in every part of Nigeria!

This meal doesn't jus look good, it tastes good as well. It is one of my favourite dish and is so satisfying. It consists of rice and beans of course cooked in tomatoe sauce. I has carbohydrates for energy giving, protein for body building and vitamins.it can be served with cold soft drink.

This is a fun meal. Here you have your already fried yam which will be dipped in nutritious egg sauce properly cooked with Nigerian spices. It's rich in carbohydrates, protein and minerals. It is also very easy to make.
We also have what we call Moi Moi

It is sooooo rich in protein because it is made with beans majorly. It has a unique taste and smell that will lead you to the kitchen. Moi moi is made with beans which will then be grinded with onions, pepper and a kind of pepper we call Tatashey in yoruba to produce a well blended mixed. It will blow off your mind when prepared with egg or fish.
Rice and Stew

I call it "the sunday meal". It is so easy to make that it will take u barely 10 mins to make. This meal is eaten everywhere in Nigeria and am certain every Nigerian woman can make it. It has carbohydrates,minerals and protein

This is my favourite meal! It is sooo delicious! And makes me hungry jusy by looking at it. It is made with tomatoe,Nigerian spices and of course rice. It is rich in carbohydrates and minerals and can be served hot with fried chicken or beef with soft drink!
