Outside the Window - What’s the weather outside your window doing right now? If that’s not inspiring, what’s the weather like somewhere you wish you could be?

The weather now is hot and sunny. The sky is bright and blue. This is the perfect weather to do my laundry as I can hang my clothes in the sun and let them dry. This is one of the small things in life that makes me happy. Weather like this makes me think of cold and sweet milky tea. I can imagine myself walking around at Gaya Street on Sunday morning with a big cup of Tealive Signature Brown Sugar Milk Tea in my right hand and shopping bags in my left hand while looking around at the stalls. This is the weather that evokes me to visit restaurants that serve desserts such as Nunpat where I can get my favourite Green Tea Bingsu, or even Kak Kiah Cake House, where I can quench my thirst with their Blue Ocean drink while savouring slices of cakes that are served there.

As much as I love hot weather, I find myself drawn to the mystifying ambience of light shower rain weather, and I wish I could be in this weather now. The smell of the raindrops hitting on the ground at the first few minutes can be too overwhelming, but soon, it becomes unexplainably fragrance. The temperature drop soothes my skin. The air is cleaner and fresher. I think the prominent factor that makes me fond of this weather is the colour; grey. I love grey, and the colour of the sky when it rain is also grey, and even in my favourite shade. I can watch anime, drama or movie from my laptop while wrapping myself with a fluffy blanket on my soft bed. Of course, as a glutton, a cup of hot tea and varieties of cookies are served on a table next to my bed while enjoying whatever shows that I’m watching on the laptop.
