Homemade Baby Food Is An Important Step Towards Excellent Health @senseicat
When my pediatrician instructed me that it was time to feed my son his first solids, I remember going directly to whole foods (a.k.a. "whole paycheck") to ensure that he received the very best in baby foods. I went ahead and bought quite a few different varieties and was extremely disappointed in the taste. They were all super sugary sweet to my taste so imagine how it would effect a baby.
In my mind, I thought that if I introduce so much sugar initially, that it could potentially set him up to become desensitized to sugar and continually craving more.
I see this so much in adults who are struggle with health issues. It has become an epidemic here in the United States.
This inspired me to make home made baby food and it is SO easy and good for both babies and adults.
Let me give you an example:
Take organic frozen peas and cook them and add a little bit of purified water. Then, place the warm food into a clear glass yogurt container with a tight fitting lid and refrigerate until ready to use. You can do the same technique to a variety of vegetables.
My son absolutely loves veggies still to this day @senseicat
