Rice briani aceh as the name suggests this food is a traditional recipe of rice in the form of rice. Rice briani aceh is a yellow rice made from spices placement of this spice is preferred to rice, so this rice has a distinctive taste in accordance with the tongue of aceh society.

INGREDIENTS :

10 cloves
1 piece of lawang / pekak flowers
1/2 teaspoon fennel
1/4 cumin
1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1 teaspoon ground pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Pepper powder to taste
3 tablespoons of cooking oil for sauteing
650 ml Water to boil

HOW TO MAKE :

  1. First 300 grams of goat meat remove the fat then goat meat cut (not need to be washed!) Further input the pieces into the bowl add the lime juice, and sprinkle salt and pepper powder to taste and stir until well mixed let stand for at least 20 minutes for the smell on goat meat gone.
  2. Next Prepare a skillet Stir-fry onions are finely chopped with 3 tablespoons of cooking oil until wilted input 5 pieces cardamom, 10 grains of cloves, 1 fruit pekak / lawang flowers and stir until it smells fragrant.
  3. Then Enter the meat that has been cut and spiced and all the rest of the ingredients are 1/2 teaspoon fennel, 1/4 cumin, 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder, 1 teaspoon pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and salt to taste then Stir until the meat changes color pour enough water, cook until soft
    After that add water 650 ml, bring to a boil. Put rice (long graim rice) and yogurt / milk then Cook until the liquid is absorbed by the rice, after the liquid is absorbed and then remove the lift
  4. Then steam until cooked rice (long grain rice that is half cooked) included with the meat and all the ingredients are mixed, after cooked lift and serve.
