Mutton curry on vegetable rice
Sometimes spicey food comes in handy, especially when hot.
Today I was trying out mutton curry, and wonder what it should go with. Chapti, paster or dushe potatoes. Then it came to me, alas rice.
HOW TO COOK.
500gms mutton chops and skimmed
2onions
2garlic
4tomatoes
4chilly
1tablespoon chill podwer
1tablespoon coriander powder
1bunch corianda
3tablespool
2tablespoon ghee
4cups of water
Salt
Directions
- Wash the rice and let it sock for 15mints. Bring water to boil.
- Crush 4 pices of garlic, add it to the water and salt to taste. Also add in a little oil to make rice separate.
- Bring it to a boil for 3 mints and simmer till rice is cooked.
- Chop onions, 3 pieces of garlic.
- Heat ghee, then add the meat and let it cool for 10mints. Add onions and garlic and let them cook.
- Add chilly and coriander powder. Put in tomatoes and let then cook. Add salt to taste.
- Add water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 mints. Remove form the fire and let it cool for 5 mints.
- Serve while hot with a garnish of fresh coriander
