Honolulu Burger Company: Honolulu, Hawaii ///// 100 followers THANKS ALL!!

in #food8 years ago (edited)

For the first time something happens to me that I knew would happen to me. I went to try a place recommended by many people on different websites and the burger was awesome but the place was pretty ugly. That is: not so much that not being able to stay to eat but if like to finish and leave immediately.

I know that more than one will not agree and it is controversial, but I went to eat a hamburger and what I received was exquisite indeed. But the floor was dirty, the tables and decor were quite ordinary ( "mean hair" can be said?). Also the area of the city where the place was was not the best either. It did not look anything dangerous eh, clarified that ... but it was kind of in the "down town", it was not a tourist place.

Not that all that does not count, since, but for me the main thing is the hamburger and in this case was excellent. In addition I the score that I put at the end of the posts also refers mainly to what I ate, so in this case is going to be the maximum. In Honolulu Burger Company, I do not know if I call it a franchise because there are only two, they boast of using beef raised on the island. The patty was delicious, well roasted, with that black, crunchy cap on the outside and juicy on the inside. I ordered one that said it was their best seller: the "Blue Hawaii Burger" with blue cheese, bacon and caramelized onions. When I tried it I could not believe its mix of flavors. The size was fair, neither exaggerated nor little ... but expensive, with potatoes and drink about $ 17 dollars.

They use a very soft and moist bread, very similar to BurgerFi. It's like that once you squeeze it with your fingers it does not re-inflate. The sandwich came with lettuce and tomato even though it did not clarify and there was also a half pink sauce on the bread that provided a rich flavor.

The fries, super abundant, were spectacular ... they came with parsley but it looked as if they were put in the oil because it was like crunchy. I had very little, it was just a detail that in my case did not bother me because I repeat the potatoes were very good. It is difficult to think that French fries can vary so much because it is something simple but the reality is that happens, each place makes different and these were among the best I have tried.

The place as I said before was ugly and a bit dirty. It was not disgusting either, but they could have it better without a doubt. I finished eating, took some pictures and left so I did not even notice if they had WiFi. What if there was parking was next door and the attention of the employees was very friendly (like everywhere in Hawaii). eur-lex.europa.eu eur-lex.europa.eu

Anyway, if you are wandering around Honolulu and have a little French fries lying on the floor and a very basic decoration, go and eat a memorable hamburger. I plan to go back before leaving the island. I'm going to go to the other place if I can, to see if it is better than this and if so I update the post.
