You bake tooo?
Man of many talents :D

You mean I don't need a bread maker? haha
Will try this ... to do in 2020 :D

Merry Christmas @raj808... though I know you don't really celebrate...
But wishing you some Merry times!!

Yes, that no knead bread is a great recipe... So easy of the make it the night before, and then fresh baked bread in the morning.

Merry Christmas kaerpediem 🎅

Damn! Hahaha full blown on cooking truth is, I've not baked in close to 5 years really and seeing all these and I wonder what I've missed being a chef. It's totally humid here by the way over 37 degree celcius

Ha ha, I love cooking... I find it especially calming.

To be fair with that humidity all the bread/bagels/blondies might go off. Maybe do just one or two at a time lol

I ended up giving half the bagels away to my mum and a friend... but no one got any of them blondies 😆

Ooh yum. I love home baked bread. I will be right over! Baking days are wonderful and cozy. I love them too. 😁

Hi @jayna 👋

Yeah, that is a massive part of it. When it's raining just putting the fire on, baking until the house smells like bread and chilling out all cozy. I get where you're coming from for sure. I'm sat now with the fire blazing and the fruits of yesterdays labors... getting fat 😆

P.s. swing on over... there are still some bagels left and four pieces of blondie... which might not last long!

A shaggy dough. As a baker of many years I love this term!

A shaggy dough... a rough and ready dough ball that likes to go its own way, takes no guff from anyone and rides a 1970's Triumph Daytona motorcycle and collects Led Zeppelin records.

Ha ha, that's how imagine the old shaggy dough brought to life. In reality,it's just a stringy mess of doughy strands until you let it rise for 10 - 12 hours when it bubbles up into a monstrous mess of yeasty goodness.

Lol, that's what I like about it, I instantly recognise the very way it looks just from reading it!

Looks like a productive rainy day baking, yum! BTW do you have a link to info about the @ocd / @ocdb #posh proof of share initiative? I looked at @ocd account and there is nothing there that I can see about it. I am giving out bonus prizes in a contest I am running if people share the contest entry on external social media and it might be good for me to tell people to use #posh and link to the ocd initiative. Cheers

Hi Carl (@carlgnash)

Yeah, it was a nice day in the warm out of the rain with the smell of bread in the air. Glad you enjoyed the foodporn m8 :)

Sounds like a good idea. I do know where there is a link for the @ocd #posh initiative, it's on @acidyo's profile. I'll just find it.

Here we go. This is the original post that explains the details etc:

ah I see it is just twitter, which is really about the only major social media network that never ever clicked for me. Maybe I should make a damn twitter account LOL

Maybe I should make a damn twitter account LOL

Ha ha, yeah I gave in and made one about 5 years ago but never really used until I got super active on steem. Now I use it to promote my blog and particularly any creative writing I put on here as I have loads of writer contacts from my university days.

not a big fan of twitter, but its ok as a tool. I prefer it to Fbook.

Impressive baking skills, man, I'm jealous!

If life gives you rain, make bread & cookies :)

Cheers, yeah I find baking oddly meditative. Plus, it's a great way to make a rainy day just fly away :)
