PIEday Friday! 🍴 Venison & Juniper!!! 🍮
Today's Pie is a new flavour for me I love Venison with it's rich gamey flavour. But I wasn't sure if I would like it as im not particularly keen on Gin, but I can tell you it was an excellent combination and made a great change from my usual Steak & Ale. The Juniper berries complemented the meat perfectly with a good depth of flavour. The pastry is Butter and Lard hand made by my Mum, it's crisp, crumbly, and melt in the mouth! Its the weekend! Eat, Drink, and Be Happy! 🍽👍
