MY MOST RECENT VISIT TO STK IN LAS VEGAS!! ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE RESTAURANTS<3

The first time I ate at STK I was just a newborn Las Vegas tourist that happened to be staying at The Cosmopolitan where the restaurant is located. I knew instantly this place was always gonna be a favorite of mine. That was nearly five years ago and I’ve went through a lot of life changes since then including relocating myself to Vegas, and taking an interest in writing about food instead of just stuffing my face. STK Steakhouse is still on the top of my favorites list, and it’s always one of the first places I recommend to visitors, or locals that are clearly out of the loop;) It features amazing steaks, but they have a broad menu with lots of variety all of which has always been spot on in my experience, and let me apologize for my lack of actual food pics. I figured I could at least offer people a look at the atmosphere of the restaurant.

You probably don’t want to bring a first date here, or any elderly family members (pretty much anyone that would be offended by loud music or A LOT of noise). You’re not gonna be able to have a quiet conversation in this place, but I find that’s one of the things that sets it apart from other stuffy uptight restaurants on the strip. They actually have a DJ some nights and if they don’t they still play energizing background music that’s always turnt up. Don’t get me wrong though it’s far from a casual setting so make sure to dress up, or at least dress nicely to avoid feeling out of place. You’re almost always gonna need a reservation here so don’t think wandering in is gonna work unless you have incredible luck, or you’re prepared to risk starvation while you wait to be squeezed in. Calling ahead is always the best idea. I’ve dined at STK so many times it would be hard to recap everything I’ve sampled over time so I figured I could narrow it down and just focus on the last meal I enjoyed there. Bear with me because the menu changes regularly as it is with any good restaurant.

They always bring out an amazing little loaf of bread for the table to start with, and it’s accompanied by this green garlic and herb buttery type of dip. Don’t be alarmed by the weird neon green color of the “butter” it’s a life changer you do not want to miss out on. Trust me. The Bleu Iceberg chopped salad is great to start and the Crispy Lobster Tails were a great appetizer on my last visit. The Beef Carpaccio is my girlfriends and my all-time favorite starter hands down though. We always order several portions of it, and we’re always scraping the plates. The Yukon Potatoes, Parm Truffle Fries, and Asparagus are always my favorite side dishes to pair with my usual main dish. I almost always order the Bone in Rib Eye Steak cooked medium rare. Rib steaks are my favorite cut, and this place has a great one. In the past I’ve tried the STK house steak sauce along with the bleu butter sauce, and the béarnaise. I always end up asking for regular old A-1 like an uncultured goof when the new sauce doesn’t quite “do it” for me. Oh well. Long story short the service, food, and atmosphere of this place are nothing short of incredible. You’ve gotta put it on your Las Vegas dinner bucket list (if you have one), and you’ll thank me. I’ve been hooked on STK for almost 5 years, and I don’t see anything changing anytime soon .

Yes. The truffle fries are fun and ourstanding. Enjoy this place each time I attend Veags. The atmosphere really is quite enjoyable. It isncertainly a go to place. Agggh You make me want to go there right now from Hollywood....Beautiful...
