Recipe - Honey Mustard Chicken Wings
I thought I'd post this recipe that I've made before. I hope you guys like it. It's pretty easy to make. :)
To make these honey mustard chicken wings you’ll need a slow cooker and the following ingredients.
- 3 pounds of chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of spicy brown mustard
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 4 thin lemon slices
- 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce
- 1 garlic clove
DIRECTIONS:
- You need to wash the chicken and dry it.
- Then, cut off the wing tips and throw them away.
- Cut each wing at the joint in order to make 2 pieces.
- Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. (Make sure to do both sides.)
- Place the chicken wings on a broiler rack.
- Broil for about 10 minutes (turning them over halfway through).
- Then put the wings in the slow cooker.
Now while the chicken wings are in the slow cooker, mix the honey, barbecue sauce, garlic and mustard in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Then top with the lemon slices. Cook everything on a low setting for 4 to 5 hours. This recipe makes about 24 chicken wings.
