#4 Soya Chunks(Meal Maker) Manchurian Recipe
Ingredients
Meal maker/Soya Chunks -- 150grams
Corn flour -- 3Tbsp
Maida/All purpose flour -- 2Tbsp
Ginger garlic paste -- 1Tbsp
Salt as needed
Vinegar -- 1Tbsp
Soya sauce -- 1/2 Tbsp
Green chili sauce -- 1Tbsp
sugar -- 1/2 Tsp
Water -- 500ml
Oil -- For deep fry
Onions -- 1 chopped
Green Pepper -- 1 chopped
Spring onion -- 2 chopped
Ginger -- finely chopped -- 1Tbsp
Garlic -- -- finely chopped -- 1Tbsp
Preparation:
- Boil water. Add soya chunks to the boiled water and soak it for 10minutes(Soya chunks will double the size).
- Strain out the water from the soya chunks and squeeze them to remove excess water.
- Take them into a bowl. Add Corn flour, Maida, Ginger garlic paste, salt. Mix them well.
- Leave it for 10minutes.
- Heat oil for deep frying. Once the oil is heated, add the above soya chunks to the oil and fry till golden brown. Take them into a bowl and keep aside.
- In another pan, take 3tbsp oil. Add Finely chopped ginger, garlic pieces, onions, green pepper, salt and fry them slightly.
- Now add vinegar, soya sauce, chill sauce, sugar and saute them all for a minute.
- Now add fried soya chunks to them and mix well. Now add finely chopped spring onions to them and saute for a minute.
- Take them into serving bowl and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
