Some Photos I Snapped at a Grocery Store in Japan
A few of the more interesting items I came across today while shopping.
Jumbo scallops, in shell.
AJI, a type of mackerel. For frying or grilling.
Jumbo prawns, they look tasty.
Frozen calamari, for cooking, stir-fry.
Lazy? crab, cook for 20 minutes in salt water. These guys were still moving.
Big-eye tuna jaw, for boiling or grilling.
Red Sea Bream, farmed, for boiling or grilling.
SANMA (pacific saury), thawed, for grilling or boiling.
Octopus, cooked.
UME (plum), as in UMEBOSHI (pickled plum), large large size :)
Fruit and veggie juice, yummy!
KUMA-CHAN PAN, little bear sweet bread.
