Kiev with Mayonnaise


Tonight's dinner was Chicken Kiev. It is usually something we have about once a week. I prefer mine with either a lemon and herb, or a chilli sauce of some sort usually. The other half however always has mayonnaise on hers.



I could almost understand putting mayonnaise on a garlic chicken Kiev, except for the brand of mayonnaise she happens to like. It is from Costco, and besides being full of air, the taste isn't for me.



I have found Costco to be a bit of hit and miss when it comes to some food brand items. Some are very good, and others are best left on the shelf.

        Love the kiev, and everyone has their own style, but I'm certainly not one for the mayo on mine. It might get some dressing from the salad, or some lemon juice, but it should contain enough liquidy sauce to survive the whole thing

          Agree with no mayo, not sure about the dressing, and yes it should contain enough sauce, but most don't.
