Lemon and Garlic Shrimp
Shrimp is my favorite kind of seafood, it's also high in protein and great if you're on a diet. If you're a seafood lover like me try this tasty shrimp recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. white shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. white wine (or water)
- Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil. Add shrimp, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes and cook until shrimp is pink, about 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon butter, lemon juice, white wine, and parsley.
- Serve as is or over pasta or rice
