I can cook!

Lol yeah can you believe it? Onetime i made a grilled cheese for my pregnant wife..somehow burned it. She was trying to eat it while laughing and crying, pregnancy is weird. 😅

Today though, I prepared a recipe that @cryptopie posted here

I had to alter some of the marinade some. So here is ingredients I used:

• Tumeric 1.5 Tablespoons
• Fresh minced ginger 1/4 cup
• Minced garlic 1.5 tablespoons

Since garlic and ginger wherent powder or liquid I cooked it down in light coconut oil.

I mixed all the spices with 2 cups of plain yogurt (thinner is better). I let that marinade for 4-5 hours then fried it in coconut oil.

Here is outcome...

For the dip

• I diced two beefsteak tomato's
• half of a green pepper
• quarter onion

In a pan I pretty much used all same ingredients in video..

• sautee chili pepper
• add 1.5 tablespoons of brown sugar (to taste)
• extra ingredient - more ginger (couple pinches)
  

I was kind of dissappointed that dip turned out soupy. But... mixing the two together. Wow!

I am so happy I learned this recipe. Even the pickiest eater at the table enjoyed it!

And for that I am eternally grateful for the post cryptopie made! She has been soooo picky.

At least I know I can cook in the kitchen now, give the grill that much needed break.
