Customised Truck Cake for my son's birthday
Our precious one turned two last weekend! We had a small birthday celebration at home for him with some close friends and family yesterday.
My son is a bigggggg fan of trucks😄 So I made a truck cake for this big fan of trucks for his birthday!🚜🚛🚚
This is how the cake look like when we cut it. Layered with dark chocolate ganache in between that able to let this cake stand under room temperature firmly.
The front part of the truck is a cake too.
This is how the base look like. I modified it from a remote control truck. Sealed everything well with aluminium foil.
The cake is made with a remote control base, I thought everything went smooth but unfortunely the tires of the truck cake failed to move due to the overweight cake I made🙄
The tires still okay to spin if I lift up the front and back of the truck. It comes with lights too! I shall invest more for a heavy duty remote control base next time!💸
