How to Make Stew Jengkol, Indonesian Food
Materials
- 12 Old Jengkol
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 cloves of red onions
- 1 segment of Laos
- 5 pieces of Orange Leaves
- Sweet soy sauce 4 tbsp
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp AJI-NO-MOTO®
- 3 tbsp Cooking Oil
- 200 ml of Air
Supplementary material:
- 3 tbsp Fried Onions
Step 1
Boil jengkol with lime leaves until soft, remove and drain. Crush jengkol until flat, set aside.
Step 2
Ground spices: Add garlic, onion, laos, 3 tablespoons of water, puree, set aside
Step 3
Heat cooking oil, saute ground spices and jengkol until cooked. Add the remaining water, soy sauce, salt, pepper and flavoring, cook until boiling, remove from heat, serve with fried onions.
