Protein Packed Vegan Power Breakfast Oatmeal

I was never a person to always have the same breakfast over and over everyday. I would always switch it up. But something changed once I tried this specific Oatmeal. I noticed that I would eat it every single morning without fail. It was so satisfying in flavor and fullness, and it would satisfy my hunger for quite sometime. I was sitting down and decided to take quick picture to show you guys.

These are the ingredients I use:

  • Oats ( I like both steel cut and instant, I tend to switch these around every now and then depending on the texture I am looking for)
  • Protein Powder ( I like Vivo Life Perform Raw Vegan Protein Powder)
  • Raw Unsweetened Cacao Powder
  • Chia Seeds
  • Flax Seeds
  • Milk ( I like to use either Almond Milk, Hemp Milk,Rice Milk,Coconut Milk, Oat Milk )
  • I throw a Banana afterwords and mush it in.
  • Dates ( my all time favorite for this breakfast)
  • Frozen Mixed Berries ( Blueberries, Strawberries, Cherries, Raspberries)
  • Cinnamon
  • Maca Root powder
  • I then heat it up in the microwave
  • add another banana on top
  • Add Mixed nuts ( walnuts, brazil nuts,almonds, any kind you like really)
  • almond butter
  • and a dash of coconut flakes

Everyone likes different consistencies and textures try different mixes and happy eats!

I have just decided to eat a plant based diet too (not a fan of labels like, vegan/vegetarian)
I don't need a label to know I don't want to consume the emotional pain of other beings suffering
A friend put it to me very well, he said in nature it's fair game, but how our society tortures creatures, lines them up and they know whats coming, it's sad.

That said I love seeing promotional vegan recipes and people who are waking up! :)

Thanks for the feedback. Absolutely I know what you mean, More than anything eating a whole food plant based diet has really changed the effects on my day to day activities. I just feel better in general and many people have the misconception that all I eat is lettuce and always ask how I get my protein, just sharing a tasty meal.

More protein in legumes, beans and greens/seaweed than any meat.
