Photography captures life’s fleeting moments—good or bad—and provides a way to look back and reflect. As someone who enjoys photography, I’ve always believed that pictures can be an art form capable of expressing emotions and stories without a single word.
When I started sharing “Ulog” photos on Steemit, simple snapshots of everyday life, I was amazed by the positive feedback. My followers often said, “Every picture tells a story.” I couldn’t agree more.
Today, I’m sharing a capture that takes me back to a simpler day:
Chocolate-Covered Donuts 🍩
This photo was taken during a workday back in May 2017. My coworkers and I were treated to these delicious chocolate-covered donuts, carefully packaged in protective plastic to keep them fresh.
It’s clear from the photo that some couldn’t resist sneaking a bite. I couldn’t blame them—I’ve tried other donuts from the same baker, and they’re consistently amazing. What’s surprising is how affordable they are, given their high quality. Definitely a win for both taste buds and wallets.
A Busy but Reflective Day
Looking back, that day wasn’t just about donuts. I remember waking up to a bright, sunny morning after staying up late for some “picture hunting.” Despite being tired, I managed to tackle my chores, meet with friends online, and even squeeze in some cleaning. It was one of those rare days off work, allowing me to rest and recharge.
With winter settling in now, the heating bills remind me that time has moved on, but it’s small moments like these—captured forever in a photo—that make life meaningful.
