Tasty and Healthy Almond Milk [ENG] Rica y Saludable Leche de Almendras [ESP]
Hello, dear Steemians. How are you? Have you ever had almond milk? I'll show you how to make it at home today.
Almond milk is easy to prepare, and it's very tasty and creamy. By making it at home you won't have all the extra chemicals that go into industrially manufactured almond milk. Its ingredients are easy to get and you will surely have them at home. Let's go to the recipe!
Ingredients
2 cups of uncooked almonds
3 teaspoons of honey
6 cups of filtered water
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
2 pinches of sea or Himalayan salt
Step by step
Leave the raw almonds in a bowl with water covering them (this water is then removed and cannot be reused in the recipe)
You must leave the almonds soaking overnight, uncovered.
Take the almonds out of the water and rinse them with lots of cold water and peel them, remove the shell and put them already peeled with the 6 cups of water in the blender.
Blend at maximum speed for a minute and a half or until the preparation is creamy.
With a coffee strainer and its filter pass the mixture to remove the excess pulp, this pulp will be kept for other preparations, (let it drain slowly until only the milk remains in the container and the pulp in the strainer).
The almond pulp can be used to make almond croquettes for example.
Now add to the milk, sea salt or Himalayan salt, vanilla essence and honey.
You can keep the almond milk for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freezer.

Hola queridos Steemians. ¿Cómo están? ¿Has tomado alguna vez leche de almendras?
Ingredientes
2 tazas de almendras sin cocinar
3 Cucharaditas de miel
6 tazas de agua filtrada
1 cucharada de esencia de vainilla
2 pizcas de sal marina o del Himalaya
Paso a paso
Mmmm this recipe looks really good. ^^ keep up the great work & happy weekend! ^^
Hello dear @iamraincrystal , this is another option besides soy milk. Almond milk is low in estrogen so it can be taken by men as well. Apart from the benefits of being lactose free and very rich in calcium. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Greetings from Argentina.
Great work! It's so much cheaper to make this than buy it.
@iamraincrystal featured you in the Pay it Forward Curation contest. Keep up the great work and consider entering the contest yourself!
Thank you my friend. Yes, it´s cheaper and healthier too. Have a nice day. Greetings from Argentina.
