Fish is marinated in spices and then fried in hot Pan. This fish fry can be prepared in just 15-20 mins. I have used sea bream, you can use any fish of your choice. I suggest you to marinate for at least 15 mins, then fry and serve right away hot. Drizzle some lemon juice and eat with onions, oh ! cant imagine the taste. It melts in your mouth, fish does the magic! This is a very simple and easy to make fish fry.
Tips- I marinate more than one potions of fish at one go and keep it in the freezer and use it later. That way the fish is marinated well and you can eat fried fish more often at ease

INGREDIENTS

Sea Bream fish- 5, medium sized
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Crushed pepper- 1 tsp
Salt- to taste
Lemon juice- 1 tsp
Hung curd-1 tbsp
Curry leaves- 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Corriander leaves- 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Kashmiri chilly powder- 1 tsp
Red chilly powder- 1 tsp
Fennel powder-1/2 tsp
Butter - 1 and 1/2 tbsp
Wash and clean the fish and make gashes on both sides of the skin

Marinate fish with turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice and crushed peppers. Keep it to rest for 15 minutes.

Make a smooth paste by mixing curd, red chilly powder, kashmiri chilly powder, fennel powder, finely chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.

Rub this marination paste on the fish making sure to push the marination inside the gashes. Take time and stuff the marination paste. Apply the marination paste on both sides. Let it marinate for 1 hour at refrigerator.

Heat a pan until really hot. The marination wont separate if fried in hot pan. Add some butter, Place the fish and fry for 8-10 minutes on one side in medium flame.

Then carefully flip the fish and cook on the other side too for 8-10 minutes. This fish will cook really fast. Remove the fish carefully from pan and drain on a paper towel. Serve hot

Enjoy!! Happy cooking and stay healthy.P1015643.JPG
