Super soft home made buns for sandwiches, burgers and more
I tried this dough for pizza and loved it so much so I used it for buns as well. The buns are so soft and yummy and can be used for sandwiches, burgers or just be eaten pure with butter.
INGREDIENTS:
Dough: (Makes about 20 buns)
- 14 g dried yeast
- 500 ml warm milk
- 2 table spoons sugar (I used organic brown sugar)
- ca. 600 g flour (I used organic white flour)
- 2 eggs
- 150 ml oil (I used ogarnic, cold pressed olive oil)
- 1 table spoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add yeast into the warm milk and mix it with sugar. Cover and leave it for about 10-15 minutes.
- Add eggs, oil, salt and about 400 g of flour. Mix it well, cover and leave it for about 1 hour in a warm place.
- Add the rest of the flour and mix it well using your hands. Add a bit more flour if needed. The dough should be very soft and of a consistancy so you can roll your flat pizzas.
- Divide your dough in equal pieces and roll them into flat round pieces (about 1,5 to 2 cm thick). Decorate them with black sesame or other spices if needed.
- Leave the buns for about 20-30 minutes.
- Pre heat your oven to 250° Celsius and bake your buns for about 15-20 minutes.
- Let the buns cool down and use for sandwiches, burgers or more. Or eat when still warm with organic butter and coffee.
Et voilà! Bon Appetit ☺️
