After read this post I feel the same.
And you know what !! when all our friends visit (especially just came no plan before) my husband always served cheese and crackers as the appetizer and I am the one who cook Thai food for friends lol ..
By the way, before moving to america , I didnt like cheese much but now i am the one who also in love with cheese :-)

Well you can't blame you husband, Thai food is wonderful and he has person who can make an authentic recipes. He is very lucky. On the other hand, there can be always more accompaniments on the plate with cheese and crackers ;)
Regarding cheese, I guess it is difficult not to fall in love with something when country is really good at making and has old traditions to follow.

I wish I could be near to ur house then I can cook Thai food for my lovely friend and we can do all activity that we love together.
