Vegetable carving gone wrong?

in #food7 years ago (edited)

So I recently enrolled to a cooking/baking class. Our first activity while waiting for other enrollees is to do some vegetable carvings and we will start with tomatoes.

Expectations:

I am actually only interested in baking, but it's a full package so I have no escape but to try this so called vegetable carvings and here is my reality:

Lol! Just imagine how many more tomatoes will suffer from my hands?

And so, the following week, we started cooking something simple, and use what we learn from tomato and cucumber carving and this is what I came up with.

Yes cucumber will also suffer from my hands for a long time.

I'm not good with cooking either, I'm just good at eating. Hahaha. I'm really struggling in this. I have already watch some tutorials on youtube. Any tips?

Thanks!

Practice, practice, practice! But even more importantly, HAVE FUN! :)

Yes, I am starting to enjoy it. My classmates and I are having fun seeing our failed carvings and the successful ones. Thank you 😊
