Google defines it as "Marmite is made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer brewing. Other similar products include the Australian Vegemite, the Swiss Cenovis and the German Vitam-R. The British version of the product is a sticky, dark brown food paste with a distinctive, powerful flavour, which is extremely salty." It really is salty. Some people prefer to eat it with crackers, rice or bread. Spreading marmite onto a piece of bread, while also adding butter to dilute the salty taste. No doubt, marmite is really healthy for you. Marmite contains a few ingredients: yeast extract, salt, vegetable extract, spices, and vitamins(B1, B2, B3, B9, B12). Marmite is even gluten free, while high in vitamins, vegetarian and low in calories, providing nearly 50% of the recommended daily allowance for folic acid per serving! No matter how you choose to eat it, there are some things that you want to follow to further more improve your love for marmite! Below are three ways to improve that experience for you!

1 Spread marmite sparingly, ideally you want an thin layer so the taste isn't too overpowering for you.

2 Small bites, one at an time.

3 Do not smell marmite before you eat it.
