Sundays Call for Pizza
What would you like to have in your pizza?
I'm pretty simple with my pizza toppings, mozzarella, tomato and onion, and usually I throw a handful of something green on top, baby spinach this time. This is called self-deception, something I'm pretty good at.
Check out the video below to see a little timelapse of my pizza cooking up in the oven. That stone I bought to the oven is one of the most important things to have if you want to make good pizza at home, if you don't happen to have a masonry oven :D
Yes, I know, my oven is filthy, but I'm getting a new one soon so I'm not going to waste my time cleaning up this hot stuff from the 70's :D

This is bizarre because I made roughly the same pizza this week: tomato slices, mozzarella balls, red onion, my spice mix, and under it all.....spinach. The kids like the sauce and pepperonis but the grown-ups always eat the veggie pizza here.
I prefer the veggies too. Pizza is decadent enough without the meat :P

speaking of old ovens. had a carron for 20 odd years. shame it wasn't boxed up when i moved.. :)
as for pizza toppings.. sometimes don't mind pepperoni. though.. sweetcorn tuna and pineapple works well :)
