One of my favorite mushrooms is Porcini Mushroom. Because it can match with too many things. It could be the major element in your cook or just could be spice in your cook. But there is a problem about Porcini Mushroom. It rots very quickly. So you can dry them. I will explain how to dry Porcini Mushroom in this article.

Step 1 - Clean It

First of all, you don't have to wash it. Just wipe using a damp cloth. After that, dry immediately with a dry napkin. Now you have to take off green-yellow part from the bottom of the hat.

Step 2 - Cut It

You have to cut them to 3-5 mm thickness.

Note: If the weather is cold, cut them to max 3 mm.

Step 3 - String It

Be careful about the distance between every single mushroom.

Step 4 - Wait

Waiting time varies according to weather conditions.
If the weather is cold, wait for 8 days.
If the weather is sunny, wait for 3-4 days.
If they can get sunlight, the process will be shorter.

After drying, please make sure it does not get air...
