Ramen Museum in Japan

This museum is set underground in a makeshift old school station, with shops, stalls, and 'homes' each selling varying types of ramen. Some more brothy, some with more miso, some with fish, all of them delish.

This was the Tonkotsu Pork Bone ramen by Komurasaki. It featured thinner noodles and lighter soup without giving up on any flavours. It's also got toppings like fried garlic, seaweed, and scallions to give it more depth.

A snapshot of a video I took form the ramen museum. You can just make out the vintage posters, old school decor, and a ramen shop in the bottom corner!

That Tonkotsu Pork Bone ramen looks AMAZING. What else was in the museum? I assume displays about the history of ramen or...? Thanks for sharing...my interest is peaked and now I want a big bowl of ramen!

around 8 other ramen stores all with different ramen types! some vintage memorabilia about old school japan. and on the upper floor a lot of history about ramen, and a little toy shop. Definitely worth visiting! Plus you can check out the instant noodle museum near by :)

Sounds like a fantasy land of deliciousness!! I'll add these two stops to my to do list next time I'm there. Thank you!!
