LOCAL WAY OF BAKING MEAT PIE

Hi everybody am back to this platform again. I haven't been around for sometimes now because of some reasons. So yesterday i met a lady baking meat pie in a more economized method, so even in this corona virus problem you can't deny yourself of eating that favourite snacks called meat pie. So yesterday as i saw the lady i have to interview her to know how she does this wonderful snacks which i know people here will find interesting especially those in rural areas that finds it difficult purchasing it, you guys can now do it without all this expensive bakery tools like oven, meat pie cutter etc.
This conversation was between me and the lady.
Me: Hello am chibuzorlawrence from steemit. How about you?
The Lady: Chidimma
Me: what are you doing?
The Lady: am about to bake meat pie
Me: wow with all this things? Thought you will need oven, egg whisker, meat pie cutter etc
The Lady: No.. Though those things are needed but since i don't have money to purchase them, i have to opt in to another method.
Me: ok i will like to know how you do it
The Lady: firstly i used 6 cups of flour, 1½ teaspoon of baking powder, 1½ sachet of Margarine (375g), ½ teaspoon of salt, 1egg, carrot, meat, irish potato, thyme, maggi, water, onions.

PROCEDURE
Firstly you prepare the fillings and in preparing it, you parboil the meat then cut or crush it into pieces and keep it aside, Dice the onions, carrot, irish potato and then steam it and keep it aside. Using frying pan put a little quantity of vegetable oil, put those sliced and crushed ingredients, add thyme, salt and maggi to taste then stir it well and leave it for like 3 mins before bringing it down.

Bring a dried bowl, put the measured sieved flour, add baking powder, pinch of salt, butter and mix them together, make sure there is no lumps, add a little water, so that it won't be sticky in the hand, mix it together till it form a dough,
Roll out dough and make a round cut. break the egg and whisk it with a fork, rub the whisk egg on the edges of the rolled dough and put the fillings or the already fried sauce in it . then fold it and use fork to make design at the edges of the pie.

Then in baking
Put some sand in the pot and heat it, grease a baking pan or any aluminium pan with margarine, arrange the meat pie in the pan and put it inside the pot which you heated sand inside to bake for 30 minutes until a golden yellow meat pie is achieved.
