Fried beef with rice noodles recipe.
Ingredients.
Fried beef.
- 300 grams of beef tenderloin (thinly sliced).
- Rice noodles.
- 1 onion.
- 100 gram bean sprouts.
- 1 cucumber.
- 4 lemongrass (finely chopped).
- 2 garlic (minced).
Dipping sauce and salad.
- Fish sauce, garlic, chilli, sugar, vinegar and lime juice.
- Coriander, mint, basil, cucumber.
Instructions.
- Marinade the beef: In the large bowl, combine beef with 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon fish sauce, black pepper, finely chopped lemongrass, minced garlic and 1 teaspoon vegetable oil. Marinade for about 15 minutes in the refregator.
- Meanwhile, if using dried noodles, bring a large pot of water to boil, soak noodles, stiriing until softened, usually about 8 minutes. Drain and rinse with cool water.
- Prepare the dipping sauce: In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons vinegar,4 tablespoons lime juice, 3 tablespoons fish sauce, garlic, chilli, cool water and stir together. We have a simple sauce (sweet and sour).
- Heat oil in a large pan over high heat, add some lemongrass and garlic, fry stir till golden, add the onion and stir for a couple of minutes until tender, add the beef and stir well till cooked meat. Set aside.
- Serve the beef with noodles, sliced cucumber, sliced vegetables, peanut and drizzle some dipping sauce over the entire bowl, mix well before eating.
