Steem Cooking Show: Pineapple Dole 🍍🍍🍍

in #food6 years ago

Hey Dtube & Steemit!

My name is Lydia,

I post new cooking recipe videos here on Steemit every other day. I hope to help inspire others to make homemade food. It's not as difficult as many would think and much more delicious than anything you would buy pre-made!

Pineapple Dole

2 C frozen pineapple
¾ C coconut milk
1 t fresh lime juice
Sugar or honey (optional)

Add all ingredients to a powerful blender and blend until smooth. Once your mixture is smooth, your dole is ready.

Enjoy!

As always,

All things cooking…decentralized!

Looks pretty easy, tastes good?

I like the peach version more 😉.

Greetings, young lady Lydia

I missed you. Pretty cool your pineapple recipe. It is a very used fruit here in Brazil, both to eat alone and to be ingredient of other desserts.

There is a metaphor here that we use, do not know if you use in your country, but it is when the person will have to solve something that nobody wants to solve, something difficult, it is "peeling pineapples". I've never peeled a pineapple, but I imagine it must be pretty hard hahaha.

Thank you for teaching this dole recipe.

Good morning!!!

Your welcome. I like to peel pineapples with my teeth 🤣

uowww hahahah. Thank you!

your cooking shows are so good! ^^ i wonder if you can do this with watermelons too

I was wondering the same thing believe it or not, if you try it let me know I would love to try it too. How are you guys doing?

Pineapple dole! Very sweet and tangy. Pineapples grown from volcanic ash are amazing, reminds me of the dole plantation from Hawaii, thanks for reminding me of this! :)

I love pineapple! looks good and refreshing, i´m gonna try it!

I hope so! Let me know how it goes.

Wow dear so delicious and easy keep it up

Hey good morning @alphasteem... How are you..
Thanks for sharing this recipe, I have heard that this is quite rich in Vitamin A,B and C.
And moreover its good for asthma patients, good for heart and it is a cancer antiagent also....
Its really difficult to get coconut milk in my city. But still I will try to prepare this...
Is it sweet without sugar ?
and do upload a video preparing a mango dish if thats possbile for you. I love mangoes.
Thanks for sharing. ..

Hey there! I think you can make it with dairy I didn't try I'm sure it will turn out good. You might want to sweeten it up if you like it sweet...mine wasn't that sweet. I'll try to do something with mangoes in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.

You are welcome @alphasteem....
I guess yours was sweet and sour ...
Yes i am eagerly waiting for a mango dish :D :D
This is the mango season here in India :D
