Coconut Crème Brulee

Hey Y’all!



Coconut Crème Brulee

½ C Sugar
6 Egg Yolks
1 Egg
2 C Whipping Cream
2/3 C Unsweetened Canned Coconut Milk
½ t Coconut Extract
Extra Sugar

Preheat your oven to 350 F. Place your ramekins in a roasting pan and set aside. Next in a large bowl add in your sugar, egg yolks, and egg and whisk until everything is well combined. To a sauce pan, add in your whipping cream and coconut milk and bring to a boil while mixing. Once your cream had boils, take it off the heat and add about half a cup to the egg mixture to temper the eggs and whisk until combined and afterwards add the rest of your cream to the eggs and whisk well till combined. Pour your custard into your ramekins and pour boiling water to the roasting pan (just enough to come up halfway on the sides of your cups). Bake 35 minute or until the center is set. Take the ramekins out and refrigerate overnight. The next morning preheat your broiler. Arrange your ramekins on a baking sheet and sprinkle sugar on top. Broil until the sugar browns up and take it out of the oven. Refrigerate for about another hour and serve.

Thanks @mykitchenlab 😀 You are very nice. It doesn't really taste like pudding but a similar consistency. Yes my husband helps record the videos when I'm talking and we use the gimbal also. You are a very beautiful girl too I saw your last video I just cant understand it haha...great job! honestly no, I haven't have much youtube I've really only been doing this about 6 months but I edit some of the videos and my husband helps me edit some of the videos so it doesn't take too long But it is a lot of work...I think in the long run it will pay off, I am glad I found steemit to help pay for some of the costs of the food haha...I can say a big thing is lighting...

this is a short video with my setup. Some cooking Chanels I watch on youtube are Laura Vitale, Byron Talbott, Enteritaining with Beth. To get some ideas. Do you have a Youtube channel?

no I don't as well, i never wanted really a yt channel, mainly due to the algoritm and so many people who don't bring a lot of value but are very likely to share their negative opinions (such as critisizing , arguing etc). I have not observed this here so far, so that keeps me here :)

🤤 Yassssssss this is my fav!!!!! I am a creme brûlée ninja! No I do not have gluten and egg free, well it is gluten free but you can't really make it without eggs, creme brûlée? I don't know... you would have to do some research there! haha
