About Nadeje

They stablished since 2006. Nadeje prides itself on its quality fresh ingredient and finest handmade Mille Crepe and other special cakes or dessert. Nadeje has the recipe that has been refined over years to provide the best taste and quality to customers.

Location

Nadeje is located at an open, standalone section in the new wing of Sunway Pyramid mall. This outlet is sleek and neatly designed. Ample chairs with round-shaped backrest complement the white faux marble tables. Cobalt blue menu board with golden trims overlook the equally shiny bell-shaped ceiling lamps lining above the counter top. All these exude an ambience of a modern French bistro.

As it is situated in a standalone area, spacing is a challenge. The seating is arranged the best possible way to maximise its capacity. This dessert bistro is good for flippant conversations with friends and family but offer little privacy when it comes to mean business. But who needs to talk when the menu offers a diversity of salivating mille crepes, mousse and beverages to occupy the mouth.

Food

Nadeje’s core business derives from its delectable mille crepes, freshly handcrafted from its Melaka factory. The bulk of ingredients that go into its creation are imported from overseas – the chocolate is Swiss, cream is Kiwi, butter is French, green tea is Nippon and vanilla is from the pod. The painstaking efforts from creation to display explain its ultra-smooth and soft texture that shows no sign of disintegration when the fork cuts through its 18 to 22 layers. When it does disintegrate, it is only when it melts in your mouth!

With 20 equally eye pleasing and tempting mille crepe flavours to induce indecisiveness, the must-tries include Original (creamy bestseller), Mango Yoghurt and Malacca (gula Melaka gelatine layer with hints of cendol). It is worth noting that six of its flavours come with a tinge of alcohol, namely Double Chocolate, Strawberry Chocolate, Tiramisu, Café Mocha, Rum & Raisin and Lemon Cheese. To differentiate its six outlets, each of its outlet has a unique premium series and for Sunway Pyramid it is the Premium Pear flavour.

Pair up your mille crepe with the nama donut. The mousse is so smooth that each spoonful is a pampering delight, making it the crepe’s perfect partner in crime. They are available in 18 seductive flavours. 12 without alcoholic, 6 contains alcoholic. Also available are macarons, with Nadeje’s version being perfectly shaped and nicely packed.

Drinks

No alcoholic drinks are served here, but a fantastic variety of tea and coffee are on the menu to accompany diners’ cake enjoyment. To be precise, 14 types of teas, 13 types of iced coffees and 12 types of hot coffee with many inviting and some exotic names will have patrons spoilt for choice. Take your pick from White Berry Forest Tea, Sakura Green Tea or African Sunset Tea if you’re a tea drinker. For coffee lovers, the Malacca Café Latte boasts of specially roasted Arabica coffee to acquire its unique taste.

Service

The staff are attentive to patrons’ needs and displayed diligence and timeliness in their duties. Additionally, the venue is spotless as the tables are always cleaned.

Price

The mille crepes are reasonably priced. The use of imported ingredients and its one-day shelf life policy are reasons enough to justify its price. The nama donut is a little pricey for its portion on first look, but the appreciation of this little dessert grows on you. Beverages are affordable, given its quality.
