Brighten your day with a sunny side up!
Egg, we have it almost everyday. It's cheap, nutrious, tasty and easy to prepare. The creamy yolk provides richness and fat while the while gives you protein. There are so many ways to prepare them, there s hard boiled egg, soft boil egg, fried egg, poached egg, and of course sunny side up. Cooking egg is one of the basic fundamental skills in the culinary world, sadly many don't even have a clue how to prepar them. Today I'll share some tips to achieve a prefect sunny side up egg. A prefect sunny side up egg have to have a half cook yolk while the white is set.
tip1- non stick pan
eggs are delicate, they have to be treated gently . Solution is to use nonstick pan . Thus would avoid the egg from sticking to the pan and not rough force is needed to get it off the pan.
tip2- use oil
Oil will work with the nonstick pan to avoid the egg to stick. Do remember to just coat the pan with a thin layer of oil.
tip3- cook on medium heat.
This is to ensure the bottom of the egg forms a strong crust without burn. This also help cook the White evenly.
tip4- cover the pan
By covering the pan halfway through the cooking, it help cook the top of the White without over cooking the yolk
tip5- season your egg
Season your egg either cooking or after cooking. Nobody like bland eggs.
