They do!! Usually, I have to prop them up and one time, I just put a stone under the bananas so they wouldn't sit in dirt because the trunk had fallen over...

Lol, I do the same here. We stay close to a swamp so when the heavy rains fall, many of our bananas and plantain trees fall too.
