Water pollution affects all lives. We need clean water to irrigate our crops and for marine life. Water is our most precious resource that is globally and more than ever being polluted and contaminated affecting our health, such as diseases amoebiasis, typhoid and hookworm are caused by polluted drinking water. Water polluted by chemicals such as heavy metals, lead, hydrocarbon, and pesticides can cause hormonal and reproductive problems, damage to the nervous system and damage to kidneys and liver, Parkinson and Alzheimer and cancer just to name a few.
