The Challenge: At least 100 honest reps of exercise every day. No excuses. No bullsh*t. Just actions, positivity, and results. Only post AFTER your reps are done.
If you can't contribute yet, try to eat natural foods and stay well hydrated without the sugar for now.
It's ok to start with a number you're comfortable with if you can't reach 100. You choose what exercises to do.
30 minutes of dedicated brisk walking, running, or SPINNING (new) can count as 100 reps if you're unable to lift or need to rest.
My Daily Challenge Completed - 101 reps:
-101 Shoulder Bar Presses (75 pounds)
Daily Assessment: I still feel it in my legs from the squats and calf raises. That means it'll be easier next time. It was also nice to rest my upper body since I flew through 100 reps of shoulder presses.
I went out with a friend for the night and had some drinks, but that's no excuse to not do my reps and make this post. Beer muscles? When you're tired and don't want to work out, just imagine me making myself do these reps and write every post with all of the counts 51 straight times!!! So...get going on your reps!!
Feedback from @mightpossibly:
"I find it deeply satisfying to do these reps, which is a big deal. I've always hated the gym and prefer to exercise at home. But I've lacked the discipline to do it. It sort of feels like I have gym buddies now, without the hassle of going to the gym."
Please see my first post linked below for my motivation, the challenge background, rules, and details for the Steemit Silver Coin prize! It's also got some personal stuff about why I'm doing this, so it could be a good motivator.

Daily Challenge Completed - 101 reps:
-101 Shoulder Bar Presses (75 pounds)
Challenge Completed - 160 reps
I´m feeling sick today so I decided to do another TRX day with a big walk after my training.
Squats 20x
Sumo Squats 20x
Lunges 20x
Row 20x
Push-Ups 20x
Reverse Flies 20x
Curls 20x
Trizeps Extension 20x
Walking for about one hour (not sure if I should count this)
I will sleep some more today and drink even more ;) I think that I should be fit in one or two days and then it will be time to squat!
Eat lots of oranges, vitamin c works wonders ;)
If you drinking orange juice make sure it's not the concentrated crap
Feel better!
I'll count 100 reps for the walking, so 260 total. It should be 100 reps per 30 minutes, but that's more for people who can't lift much. Fair trade. It's still exercise.
Daily Challenge completed - yesterday
Developing both mind and body 215 reps
Physical
100 reps - Walking 30 minutes X 2 - includes down and up elevation of 300 ft
10 reps - yoga asanas - 10 min X 2
5 reps - pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) 5 min X 2
100 reps = 1+ hours X 2 Transcendental Meditation and advanced TM-Sidhi (morning and evening)
Reply to @Steemmatt's comment:
Thanks @Steemmatt. It comes pretty easy. The meditation, asanas, etc I have been doing for years so it is a part of my life. I live at a retreat center which is in the woods in a rural, hilly/mountainous area. I purposely chose to live at the top of the hill so I would have to walk down to the dining hall. This is how I am forced to not be lazy and get my minimum 30 min. walks in. :-) And then I do some more when there is time.
Thanks for your reply and an insight into your lifestyle! I did already count these reps in the post above, so they've been recorded. If you did anything else "today" to add to it, please feel free to include it. Feel free to also include any instructional information on your meditation via links or comments here to help us learn about it.
OK. Will do.
I would like to practice more yoga, I did it for about a year but lately have been finding it hard to fit the time for it in to my busy schedule.
Maybe I should incorperate a yoga day into my gym routine
Yoga asanas would fit into the category of stretching which Steemmatt mentions. There are many schools of how to perform asanas. Some like to strain. I follow the no strain - go into the position and hold it for maybe 10 or 15 seconds - relax into the position with the mind's attention on it. You'll find the tightness in the body starts to relax and you become looser over time.
P.S. Meditation is also a branch of "Yoga" as are the asanas (positions) and pranayama (breathing exercises). Cheers.
Yeah I was doing ashtanga I think it was called, still remember all the stretches.
I did notice over the year I was doing it my flexibility improved quite a bit, I will probably start doing it once or twice a week in the evening before bed.
Ashtanga yoga is very popular. If you can continue at home then why not. I am not an expert on asanas but have taken classes in them. I am though a teacher of Transcendental Meditation and feel very expert on that.

Today I am going to give a 100% upvote to everyone who posts their workout today. This is a very dedicated community and everyone deserves a reward.
Thanks m8, I agree everyone who participates deserves a reward for their committment :)
Damn, you have quite the fan club on your workout posts recently! That's awesome! It's about time someone started paying attention. Now we gotta get others' posts raised up.
Thanks m8 :)
Yeah this will grow, and in turn so will our supporters.
During the week I can upvote much more on everyones posts, but over this long weekend I had to reduce my upvote percentage.
So much good content not enough voting power.
I have been thinking about leasing some extra voting power just to reward everyone a bit more, think I will look at that :)
@thevillan and @steemmatt - how do u adjust your upvote percentage for comments? I can adjust for blog posts using steem voter but not for comments. I get a message that I don't have enough vesting power?? Is there a way around this? Yesterday I went from 100% voting power to now 70%....and falling.
I think once you hit 500 SP you get the slider, then you can adjust ;)
Yeah, but that will take me a very long time at the rate I am going. I wish they would lower it to maybe 200 SP. Or maybe there is an app or extension for this?
Yeah it will take a while, something to look forward too though.
Not sure about apps but could be worth looking into
There's some good karma! Thank you very much for recognizing what we're all doing here. I'd upvote more if I could, but I've been slowly trying to recharge my Steem Power voting % from around 30% and it's so hard when everyone posts great results!
I know the feeling of having just a small percentage of one's voting power. Do whatever u feel you can do. Others can possibly take up the slack. I'll be down a good deal of voting power after today.
I've been on Steem for just over 3 months and I have learned the value of upvoting. It makes people feel good that they are being recognized and....it is nice to earn some money as well.

Great work keep at it m8 and hopefully your CTS will start clearing up :)
Thank you! After a dramatic setback, it's better than ever :)
That's great to hear, keep at it and things will get better :)
