The best way of exercising
Hi guys,
I hope you're all doing fine. In this little post I want to talk about my absolute favourite way of exercising.
- WALKING
Yes you heard right!! As simple as it sounds but I LOVE IT ..
Let me explain why I like it so much.
First of all I think that we as humans are meant to move. To move trough space, to walk, to jump, to run or sprint. It makes us feel alive..
Moving is natural to us. We are meant to do it. Every single day.
It's not just breathing fresh air it is also about getting blood flowing trough the whole entire body. Your brain will start tu function better, your mood will improve and you will start to feel healthier with time.
If you don't believe me: JUST TRY IT !!
It will make you feel 10 times better!!
For me walking had a tremendous impact on my physical health, my endurance, my body composition and my over all well being. It helped me a lot with fat loss, digestion and cravings as well.
Here are some tips to make it more enjoyable:
- go on a 20' walk after your meals
- listen to audiobooks (I use audible.com) so you can connect your reading time with exercise
- start slowly don't rush
- go on short walks and increase distance with time
- take a friend, use the time to talk
And don't forget: ENJOY THE VIEW

I am also a huge fan of walking when it's warm enough! I get the added fitness benefit of pushing a stroller & I get to bond with my daughters over the things we see in the natural world.
Hi Rachel, I am a new mum. It's true about the stroller, I clocked 5 Km just pushing the stroller today :)
Way to go!
With my first daughter (she's 3 1/2 now) I would go walking at the mall a lot (it was winter and too cold to walk outside) and I got into decent shape that way. With my second daughter (she's 19 months old) pushing around a double stroller outside made my walking a fabulous workout!

I love jogging in the nature.
In the summertime I was jogging almost every day to a sea.
Nature, fresh air, just physical activity.
When I go jogging I usually listen to podcasts at the moment.
Same with my work outs.
Great opportunity to combine several important activities.

This can be very helpful improving your English skills.
Recently I listened to an English audio book. Everytime when I'm on the way, in car, while jogging, working out.
So you use your time very efficiently.
I also see Steemit as a good opportunity to improve my English.
Walking is extremly important and you can do it so often. Driving five minutes to the supermarket when the sun is shining - why?
So many people are doing that and the complaining that they never get outside!
Sports don't have to be complicated - You can start out so easy!

Great post Nina. Walking is the only exercise I am able to manage with my little boy. I have a question though. Isn't walking right after a meal supposed to mess with one's digestion due to increased blood flow that walking causes?
Hmm.. good question. In my opinion the oposit is the case. Moving your body at a low pace can improve bowel movements and can clear excess bloodsugar out of your bloodstream. This helps preventig bloodsugar disregulations aka sugarcrashes..
Try for yourself. If you don‘t feel well wait a bit longer after eating.. 😉

Yes you are totally right, I love walking too. Especially after a meal on a sunny day. I used to go for a walk with my mother everyday.
