Daily fitness routines
Fitness is something where one needs a lot of discipline to follow it on daily basis, else it's one thing that can be very easily slipped. I too keep slipping often on this and then I have to push myself. One can agree to this statement of mine that all good habits of life come with a little discomfort. And that's where discipline comes into picture. If one is not in to a habit of fitness routines, they may need some motivation to start it but the motivation will not take you for long. Motivation will become a short term target after that discipline comes into picture and when one does not get into that then it will be difficult to just survive on motivation, because that will fade sooner or later.
After returning back from India, which was after a long break and for the first few days I was occupied in setting up things back in place for me, in which I did keep missing my fitness routines, and I was not feeling very comfortable about it. Also then for few days I was down with viral and I could not. My fitness routines are doing Yoga, climbing up steps or just a normal walk of 5kms to 6kms. From this week I have sort of got back on track. I have not been able to do much of Yoga, but steps and walk I have tried to maintain my schedule.
This week for 2 days I managed to do 500 steps each day and then for the other 2 days I could do a walk of 6 kms, one day at the beach and once at the park. Missing these routines kind of mentally also impacts me, when I miss them I go dull in life. Like how I was last week grumpy and sulking. But now I feel good and energized. These habits stimulates my brain and gets me back on track again.
Discipline in any practice is so important in life to keep following and sadly all good habits need a lot of discipline to be followed.
