Good analysis! I run (haha see the pun?) into this a lot when I am training for a 5k race. Sometimes I don't stretch enough or it is time for new shoes which I recently got a new pair so I'm covered in that aspect. Overall, good job and will try those toe balances :)

Yeah please do! Warming up is important but the idea is to work the muscle in a similar way as to the impact of running, get it use to the feeling of force/pressure being applied. Thanks!
