Lympo aims to link up users fitness data, with fitness industry stakeholders. Already, the mobile fitness app industry is growing at a rapid rate. In 2016 there were 3.2 billion health app downloads. The LYM token will enable users to take their own health and exercise data, share and then, exchange this data for themselves as LYM token.

People using the LYM system, will own their own health data. Lympo will then enable the transfer and exchange of this user controlled data, through a Lympo fitness wallet and the Lympo marketplace.

The wallet first enables entrance into the Lympo ecosystem. Users of the system can then participate by having their health and fitness achievements, acknowledged and rewarded in LYM token itself. Acting as a type of payment/reward system.

The LYM token will then be able to be exchanged for other goods and services where fitness professionals and, down the road-map a little, for sports, wellness, health and related activities, goods, services and products.

There are two basic type of rewards that can be generated and paid out on the Lympo platform.

1st: A reward that is paid for achieving a fitness goal. Anything from taking a certain number of steps, taking part in a contest, or running a marathon, the list is endless
2nd: A reward that is paid out for checking in to a real physical location and then taking part in an activity for a set period of time, lets say a Zumba class for example.

Initially the Lympo wallet will et users purchase online and offline training sessions with personal and fitness trainers, consultations with fitness experts for say diet customising. More types of business and customers on boarding will enable different types of rewards to be enabled also, like health products, clothes, shoes, foods, gym promotions etc.

I feel that the secret weapon for Lympo, will be in the type of targeted marketing that this type of platform offers for health professionals and trainers. They will be able to "think up" promotions, or contests to motivate and attract new students/sports-people to their offerings. Trainers will also be able to target exactly the type of clientele they specialise in, by "paying" for data of the end users. eg all clients that may be interested in Tennis skills, or all athletes interested in improving or customising their diets, or all clients looking to work on their strength training etc. Taken from the Lympo whitepaper is one example listed below.
