Welcome to this small portion of my mind

I’ve never had a good outlet to get my thoughts out before, overflowing journals aren’t fitting like they used to be. Thanks to my good friend Kyle for telling me about this site I can finally speak my mind and put my words somewhere. Somewhere in which maybe I can help people or make them feel things through my writing.
I have always enjoyed the arts writing, reading, drawing and such. I started college at Montserrat college of art fall 2017 in hopes to major in art education. I will be posting a lot about my first year of college and the journey I made through meeting friends and the struggles of it. Lots of my entries with also involve Cystic Fibrosis a chronic illness I was diagnosed with when I was a year old.
The idea of posting my thoughts on this site has made me nervous. I believe I’ve written something similar to this about ten times and couldn’t get it to sound the way I wanted. My account has been set up for a few months now but I haven’t found the courage to post. I am now realizing this is for me more than anyone else.
