26 Days in Cabo San Lucas
Hello everyone,
My name is Jeremy, and I'm married to a beautiful girl named Micah that gave birth to my amazing son Jaxon. I work overseas for a living and come home a few times a year for alittle over a month at a time. To get the great tax breaks though I cant even be at home while im home though. So cheap vacations for a month is still cheaper then that tax man. I started coming to Cabo san Lucas a few years ago and have really enjoyed it.
Well I found this site while I was combing the-the /r/bitcoin thread on Reddit and thought why not come check it out. The first posts I saw on the sign-up page were about vacations so I figured why not talk about the one I'm currently attending.
First off I have stayed at some great all-inclusive hotels, and they are great. The sad thing is it's not Mexico, its a hotel you mostly get to see. Some maybe into this but I am not. I like to get off the beaten path and go off and adventure. If I get sick from the food, hey that just part of life. So my wife and I pick a nice hotel that is smack in the middle of town. For the price its fantastic! For around 50 bucks a night we get to stay near everything. There is a laundry mat right across the street that does laundry for a reasonable price and local restaurants all over the place.
Many that come to visit, get stuck in the marina scene here, personally its a waste of time and a waste of money. You might as well just go to chili's to eat and get a couple of margaritas. But I can see why, there is a lot of fear for some travelers getting off the beaten path. As long as it's daytime and you don't entertain strangers asking you if you wanna buy blow or weed. You don't have anything to worry about. But if it is your first time to Cabo maybe stay in a resort that is closer to the Downtown that you can there more than a few times at most likely a 10$ taxi ride. That was a big reason I didn't wanna stay at a resort, 10$ to town 10$ back. What a waste of money.
One of my fav restaurants is on the main strip; it's called Tony's Tacos. The first time I visited they had the pictures of 100's of movie stars and celebrity that have eaten there in the past. It was cool. I recommend the fried shrimp taocs. Another great place is called El Pollo De Oro, and they have amazing rotisserie chicken at super low prices. Only 48 paseos for a 1/4 chicken and 78 for a 1/2 chicken. That also includes soft tortillas and beans and rice. The chicken is to die for, trust me!
This is my first time posting on Seemit. I'm not sure about adding pictures yet. I need to figure out if its like old school myspace where ill need a hyperlink to a photo bucket or something. I'll try to update it with some pics and some updates if possible.
Ok quick question, how do I add a profile picture to my account?
