@anomiej any suggestions for Nick to get more views and likes for his posts here on steemit? I think he was tagging "introduceyourself" in hopes more people will discover his steemit page and his amazing art.

The thing is, I strongly doubt this is his art...

  1. Not a verified account (ironically, no proper introducemyself post)
  2. Simply copy pasted statement of the artist's website, no mention of steemit at all in the posts
  3. The website mentions his instagram and facebook page, but not steemit

I don't have any proof but it's likely that it's just some guy stealing the artist's content; he probably isn't fluent in english, hence the copy pasted text. I guess one way to sort this thing out is to contact [email protected] and ask him if these posts are his or not. Not really my job is it though :D

Anyways here is some advice I'd give to the real artist, if he were to join steemit:

  • make a proper introduceyourelf post, with a picture of you holding a paper with your steemit name and the date. Since he's a painter he could even do that next to one of his paintings.

  • describe your paintings and the process of creation of the work in the article, don't just post the painting like in this post.

  • engage in the comments section of other popular steemians that post art/paintings; if one of theirs works is on the same theme or is similar in any way to one of Nick's posts, he should mention it and recommend that they check out his works (basically, promote your content in a non-spammy way). Given the high quality of his works, if they do check them out, the post will get heavily upvoted and resteemed.

  • Engaging and responding to the comments on his post will help gather a long-term following
