Extra income never hurt especially if you make it while you're already buying something you need. Somethings that come to mind is when doing a remodel, or buying something new that you need.

Smart money has been using ways to stay rich while the simple Steemians like us are unaware just trying to get by.

Here are the steps I took:

First, make sure you already have a plan in place to pay off your credit cards the same month or next month not to incur any fees.

Second, if you have a large purchasing coming up, or working on a large project such as a a home build, you can do this many times.

Third, you need to locate and find a deal on a Sign up bonus Credit Card, and I will list a few below, but it goes like this, spend a certain amount in a few months, and they give you the points that you can redeem back for cash to your bank account.

Option 1: American Express $500 back or more

Option 2: Chase Sapphire Preferred 50,000 points Offer

Option 3: Chase Freedom $150 after spending $500

Fourth, Apply and use the card for your large purchase, or combined purchases over the usual 3 months.

Fifth, pay the card off, even with the points you just earned, and or cash it out to your bank.

Viola! You are now richer by 300, 400, 500 dollars, simply by making a smart move on a big purchase. Enjoy your new found riches!
