New Investing money App Spaceship Voyager

Thought I'd take a moment to share this app I have been trying out lately. Which seems too good to be true. I have tried out money investing apps before on the app store but none seem to deliver that actual dollar reward until I found.

Spaceship Voyager it's the portfolio in your pocket. There is no minimum investment and it's free under $5,000 then just 0.05% or 0.10% of your balance per year.

It's still only in the Australian market but if you sign up to the app store in Australia you can download it.

Beyond that there are no brokerage fees, no buy/sell spreads, and no entry/exit fees.

There are two portfolios you can pick, Spaceship Index Portfolio and Spaceship Universe Portfolio.

Spaceship Index Portfolio
200 of the biggest companies in Australia and rest of the world.

Free for first $5,000
0.05% per year on the balance over $5,000
E.g. If you had $10,000 invested, the yearly fee would be 0.05% of $5,000 ($2.50)
No entry or exit fees. Contribute or withdraw as and when you like.

Spaceship Universe Portfolio
100 handpicked companies that meet the mantra ‘Where the world is going’ across the world.

Free for first $5,000
0.10% per year on the balance over $5,000
E.g. If you had $10,000 invested, the yearly fee would be 0.10% of $5,000 ($5.00)
No entry or exit fees. Contribute or withdraw as and when you like.
Based on the above overview, I chose to invest in Spaceship Universe as it appears slightly more aggressive and focused on companies that have the potential to change the world. Given I am investing for the long haul (10 years plus) and have no intention of retiring anytime soon, I am looking to gain exposure to higher risk/higher return portfolios like this so that I have skin in the game as these massive companies expand.

I feel like they have made a sleek looking product that is still in its infancy. Lots of room to develop for the app and the company.
