Money saving tips at Target so you can invest the savings in Crypto!

in #finance7 years ago

Just did a "Target Run" and saved almost 20$, how did I do this?

  1. Signup for a Target account, but use a fake info where possible like 33mail.com for email, and sudo/GV for a fake phone number (or use your own if you don't care about your data being sold for profit!)

  2. Download their Cartwheel app and scan things you want to buy. If a particular item doesn't have a coupon, often it will suggest a house brand product that is similar and 5-20% off.

  3. When you check out, let them scan your "checkout" bar code and you'll save and get all the coupons you scanned, and start to earn "perks".

  4. After enough points, you'll get perks like free stuff at the cafe, and 10$ off on groceries.

  5. Extra Credit - sign up for Raise.com and buy Target giftcards for yourself at a discount. When you pay, use the cards you just purchased as well to get another X% off at checkout. Today they're about 3.5%, but I've seen them higher. You can do this with a RED card as well, but that requires more PII. Since I didn't check out with Raise today, I used a rewards card which on top of that will give me 1-3% off the total purchase price with rewards points.

So far, I've saved at least $38.38 at Target, and $67.26 with Raise, which has gone directly into my crypto investments over the past few months.
